Nicki Peek, Director of People and Culture, Pacifica Trucks LLC

Since being hired at Pacifica in 2013 as an Office/HR Manager, Nicole has seen exponential growth at Pacifica Trucks, LLC. Growing from 20 employees when Nicole started, she built Pacifica’s HR Department from scratch. Nicole considers herself a highly empathetic person, loves people, and feels that human resources is the career path meant for her. Being the only “department of one” at the company, Nicole spends her days connecting with the employees and advising the management and executive teams on proper ways to handle various labor and employment issues. She continues developing meaningful programs for the Pacifica team to help them grow in their careers.

Pacifica Trucks was founded in January 2004 as a long-haul operator of refrigerated goods. Pacifica specializes in drayage, container storage, and brokerage services to help build a sustainable and lean supply chain. As a logistics company, Pacifica is fully committed to social responsibility, the environment, and the communities we live and work. We own a fleet of US EPA Certified clean air power units. We also have embraced the Clean Truck Program.
