Happy Holidays Banner 1 2

With the end of the year being right around the corner, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your valued readership. It has been a pleasure to share the latest trends, best practices, and tips from our knowledge and experience with you, our readers. We hope that you have enjoyed reading our blog as much as we have enjoyed writing it.

The world of recruiting and HR is always evolving. As soon as something becomes a best practice, a new trend comes along and turns it on its head. There’s no such thing as knowing too much when it comes to this industry, which means continuously learning is necessary to stay ahead of the curve.

We’ve covered many topics this year, from five interview questions to determine the motivational profile of a candidate and avoiding hiring mistakes to finding top candidates through blind auditions and the value of pre-employment testing. What articles did you enjoy reading the most or find the most useful? Did you try any of the tips or best practices that you read about here?

Looking ahead to 2019, I can’t help but wonder what the next trends in HR will be — what role will new technology play? Will there be a new, more efficient recruitment tool? What will the younger generation of candidates look for in a company? How will HR continue to improve the lives of its employees?

But these are just a few of the questions I would like to know the answer to.

Now it’s your turn to tell us: what topics would you like to learn more about in the coming year? Feel free to write your interests in the comment section.

Happy recruiting, hiring, and managing in the New Year!

Thank you for a great year as well. I believe eSkill is a valuable resource for HR professionals. After having several conversations with practitioners they often tell me that they are so busy dealing with day to day employee relations, recruiting and compliance issues like FMLA abuse, dealing with problematic employees, training managers on HR policies etc.

Looking forward to a epic 2016!
